  • 1 can of cherry pie filling

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) and grease two 8-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another mixing bowl, combine the oil, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually stir in the hot water until the batter is smooth and well combined.
  6. Divide the batter evenly between the two prepared pans.
