  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) and grease two 8-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
  3. In another mixing bowl, mix together the oil, milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, and mix until well combined.
  5. Divide the batter evenly between the two prepared pans.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
